How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are processed between 1-2 business days after receipt of payment. For example, if an order is placed after 9am, we will aim to process and dispatch your order the following day. Once dispatched, delivery can be expected between 2-3 business days for major centers. For outlying areas, please allow a further 2-5 business days depending.
How much will delivery cost?
Delivery is free for all orders over R700. For orders under R700 delivery will be charged at R75 (Ex VAT) or alternatively you can collect your order at our warehouse in Cape Town.
Do you deliver anywhere in South Africa?
Yes, we deliver anywhere in South Africa. Some areas would get their orders quicker than others but for the most part we would be able to deliver to your door. In some rare instances (such as certain farms) we might get in touch to arrange delivery at the nearest town.
Do you deliver outside of South Africa?
Yes, but only by special request. If you are outside of South Africa and want us to deliver to you then please get in contact at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will gladly send you a quotation for the cost of delivery. Unfortunately because of the varied nature of International delivery costs our advertised rates or free delivery thresholds are only Valid for deliveries within South Africa.
Can I specify a delivery time?
No, the couriers we use do not currently offer delivery slots. Please make sure that the address you supply, will have someone there to accept your parcel.
Can I return my order if I have changed my mind?
Yes, you can request a return for free within 5 days from delivery. Thereafter, we will either offer an exchange or refund. Please note that this does not apply to sale items.
Will I be charged a delivery fee for returns or exchanges?
Yes, if your return is after 5 days from delivery. We will obtain a quote at the most affordable rate possible.
How can I guarantee a refund?
Your claim must be made within 5 days of delivery AND returned items must in their original and undamaged packaging, unused and fit for resale.
When will I receive my refund?
Once goods are collected, checked, and deemed fit for resale, your refund will be processed. You will be refunded in the same manner as your original payment method. For bank transfers this will take up to 5 business days, and card payments up to 10 business days.
Can I return customised products or products that have been discontinued?
No, we cannot offer an exchange or refund for discontinued products (no longer for sale on www.rubymelon.com) or any items that have been custom made.
What products cannot be returned for a cash refund?
Sale items cannot be returned for a cash refund. We will be able to offer a swap out for another product or gift voucher to redeem at a later date.
Can I get my Ruby Melon change mat recovered?
Yes you can. It cost's R100 for the recover, and R120 for collection and delivery. If you are based in Cape Town, you can also drop it off and we can recover it while you wait.
Are frames included with our dangle sets?
No, but they can be purchased separately.
How big is your change mat?
L59 x W49 x H5- 14.5 cm
Will your covers fit any change mat?
No, our change mats are designed with much higher sides and so are made to fit the Ruby Melon mat.
Will your frame fit under any change mat?
Yes, we have not yet had an issue where a frame was too small for a change mat.
Can your dangles be customised?
Yes, you can customise our natural wooden dangles by choosing any colours or characters that are already avaiable on the website (we cannot customise the character or message disc). Please note that custom sets will take up to 10 days to process and do not follow our normal delivery estimates.
We unfortunately cannot customise our Heartfelts.
